Zegna’s Cool Effect fabric offers protection from the heat by reflecting the sun’s rays. Hence the reflection of my phone’s flash on the charcoal swatch. #Zegna #AstorAndBlack (Taken with instagram)

I get asked this question all the time: “Why should I invest in a custom-made suit when I can just walk into a store and walk out with an off the rack one?” I think that this video will help answer that question.
The clothier from Astor & Black did a good job breaking down the different features and also why his company is the best way to go.
Please let me know what you think in the comment section.

LeBron James is regarded in most circles as the NBA best dressed player, deservedly so. But in the words of Jay-Z, if Steve Nash is not better than LeBron, then he’s the closest one. Both back-to-back MVP’s possess impeccable style but what sets Steve Nash apart is a flair for the dramatic.
As a fellow sock enthusiast, I admire the bold color in an otherwise conservative outfit. These are the types of things that you can’t really teach. It’s either you have it or you don’t.

My favorite time of the year is here and not just because College Football kicked off yesterday and the NFL is less than a week away. It’s time to put away the Chino and Linen suits and bring out the Flannel and Cashmere.
Those heavier suiting fabrics must be paired with a thicker tie than the usual Silk and Cotton. That can only truly mean one thing, Wool Tie Season is upon us. But just because your ties are bulkier doesn’t mean that they must be 4 inches wide. All of your favorite designers from J.Crew, Alexander Olch to Black Fleece by Brooks Brothers have a wide selection of skinny Wool ties ranging from 2.25” to 2.75”.
Below are a just a few examples. You can’t go wrong with a solid Wool tie or get creative with stripes or a plaid pattern. To me the Fall is when my Swag goes from a hundred, thousand, trillion to straight off the Richter scale. Autumn is here, dress accordingly!
